Whilst I was rearranging my makeup storage, I thought I'd share with you all, how I store makeup and beauty products in my bedroom. I hate having lots of makeup and beauty products scattered around on my desk, I like to have everything stored nicely, not only because it looks better but it keeps your makeup products organised. I mean my desk (and room on that note) can get messy in 0.2 seconds when I'm getting ready so the last thing I want is makeup everywhere. So, I keep it organised using Muji storage (you can read my post about Muji here) and beauty boxes like GlossyBox, She Said Beauty, Birchbox, LuxBox and any other ones you can think of.
Of course I have the Muji boxes as you will know if you read my post on them back in January. They are really really really good! Definitely buy one, even if you haven't got a lot of makeup you can use them for jewellery. I recently purchased some great acrylic boxes from Wilkinsons which were only £10 and have a crystal drawer thing going on, if you haven't seen it yet check out my Instagram as I posted a picture yesterday.
I keep these two boxes in my desk drawer as they are hidden yet easy to access.
I do have more nail polishes, but me and my sister are always sharing and swapping them so she has them stored in a GlossyBox too. I don't think I could store another nail polish box in my room!
Another Glossybox, holds my hair products. Unfortunately this can't be hidden so I keep this on my desk in the corner. I just find it looks much neater and organised, I had a spare Glossybox so thought hey, why not use it.
I find using beauty boxes great for storage. I'm a bit of a storage box hoarder, even as a kid I used to always keep perfume gift set boxes, Ferrero Rocher boxes (LOL) and jewellery boxes. Even now I have way too many jewellery boxes just because they look too nice to throw away. But anyway! That's how I store some of my makeup and beauty products in my room. I hope I gave you good some ideas :)
