Last Friday, I went down to Covent Garden with a friend to celebrate Revlon's 80th anniversary. To celebrate their anniversary. Revlon held an exhibition at the London Film Museum called 'Enamoured: 80 Years of Revlon' which was curated by Ryan Lanji.
When we came downstairs to the event, we saw this mahoosive nail polish made up of black and red nail polishes which was really cool. There were lots of interesting pieces which had been created from acrylic nails, lipsticks, nail polishes and all sorts! There were also some vintage makeup pieces like lipsticks which were on show for us all to see, as well as a little nail station for the public to paint their nails, using some of Revlon's classic colours from back in the day.
Take a look...

And of course if you were lucky enough to be there for bang on 5pm, Revlon were giving out goody bags to those with an email and their friend on a first come first served basis. I was lucky enough to be there during that time, so I got a goody bag...wooo! Going with their black and red theme, I got two Black nail polishes ('Knockout') and one Red nail polish (Revlon Red) and a Revlon Red lipstick! Fab goody bag I must say!
It was a really interesting exhibition to see how Revlon developed in the past eight decades and of course, learning about Charles Revson who built the Revlon empire.
Did you get a chance to visit the Revlon Enamoured exhibition?
The lipstick and nail varnish look amazing, I was going to go but ended up not :-(
