Rude Service From Bare Minerals in Stratford Westfield

 

Hi Lovies.

Last week I took a trip to Westfield in Stratford with my sister. I went to the Bare Minerals counter in John Lewis because I wanted to buy the Bare Minerals Original Foundation. I knew exactly what colour I wanted to buy and literally just wanted to buy it and go home. But that never happened.

The lady working behind the Bare Minerals counter never served me even though I patiently waited 15 minutes for her attention. She was applying makeup on another customer, once she had finished she just sat there talking to the customer. Now I'm not a rude person, and if I interupted that conversation I would have come across really rude. I understand she was giving them the best customer service, however at the same time she was giving me the worst customer service. She completely ignored me! I was standing RIGHT in front of her waiting for her to just ask me if I needed help but she failed to this. Now when I go to Bobbi Brown in Stratford Westfield, the blonde lady always acknowledges all her customers even if she is busy doing someones makeup. I don't think I'll be buying from Bare Minerals in Stratford Westfield again!

Any who! I got my foundation from Debenhams in the end because they had 10% off beauty last weekend! The foundation usually costs £24, I got it for £21.60 . I've been using it for a week now and it's so so so nice on my skin and looks really natural. I've never tried mineral makeup before, and I must say it's really nice because it doesn't clog up pores. The coverage is build-able and can be worn on its own. It's a loose powder so you don't end up using a lot. I bought the original foundation, as it helps create a glowy look rather than a matte look (there's a matte version available too if you want that look). So if you're looking for a nice powder to apply after  liquid foundation, or even just a powder to wear on its own go and try this one! (But just don't go to the Stratford Westfield counter lol).

Sorry if this was a really negative post, I was just really disappointed with the service I received.
